Sinking of the Lusitania
In the text, there is a picture of the Lusitania sinking. The picture does not show a lot of significance, but the event is very important. The sinking of the Lusitania was one of the main reasons for the US to officially start the war. German U-boats had sunk the Lusitania killing about 150 Americans. The Lusitania was a huge ship at the time and America had no choice but to join once the Germans had done this.
