Connection Across Time

In class we read about how the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand led to WWI, which was a major war, as well as how the shots fired at Lexington and Concord led to a major war between Britain and America. This situation reminded me of today's War on Terror. The terrorists had bombed America's World Trade Centers and the Pentagon leading America to fight back in a war that is still being fought nine years later.
