Assassination of Ferdinand & Lexington and Concord

In reading the articles about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and the "Shots heard around the world" at Lexington and Concord, I found them very interesting. It was interesting to me that the events were so similar and could lead to such similar events. Each of these shootings led to a major war that changed things of today. They were each the beginning of wars. The assassination was the beginning of WWI and the shots heard at Lexington and Concord was the beginning of the Revolutionary War. I never realized what the similarities were.
